Congrats on making your first big move with getting involved.
We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.
The Grace Church Growth Track guides you to discover your redemptive purpose and live the life God created for you. The Growth Track is made up of three steps that equip you to connect to the church, discover the strengths of your purposeful design and develop your God-given gifts to make a difference.
The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on a Host Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a Student Ministries Team, to crafting a dynamic experience with the Service Experience Team, to tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Small Group or partnering with the Outreach Team—we are a group that forcefully advances the Kingdom of God.
Sharing with one another in a small group the many ways God has been working in our life is one of our favorite things to listen to and share. Sharing God’s work is also great because it reinforces our faith, letting everyone know that something didn’t just happen by chance but an act of God made it happen!
Prayer is an invitation into fellowship with God through Jesus Christ, expressed in adoration, thanksgiving and intercession, through which we draw near to God and learn more of his will for our lives. He invites us into purpose and power through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The One Year Bible, which helps you read the entire Bible in one year in as little as 15 minutes a day, has a fresh, new look. The One Year Bible guides readers through God’s Word with daily readings from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs.
We exist to serve others by showing God’s love in practical ways through meeting the needs within our communities and spheres of influence. Simple acts of personal kindness can open hearts to the love of Jesus for both those being served and those serving. The Grace Church Calhoun Outreach Serve team is made up of Outreach Small Groups and individuals who are using their gifts and talents to glorify God by serving others.
Research shows that people who regularly attend church report stronger social support networks and less depression. They smoke less and lead healthier and even longer lives. In a very real and physical way, Church is literally good for your health. Attending an event at Grace Church is also a great way to get involved with us.
